We ordered this bunk bed without the intention of using it as a bunk, I just wanted two matching beds for my sons and I got that. The beds came pretty quickly. They do seem pretty sturdy and I and my husband have been on both beds and they didn't break. Very easy to put together as two separate beds (not sure about bunking) and the material is actual wood not just veneered which is nice. For the price I would definitely recommend and was not disappointed in the quality. They look really nice in my boys' rooms.
